My name is Sophie Quagebeur. I grew up in France and moved to California 20 years ago to pursue personal and professional dreams. I am currently based in Seattle and continue my journey as a Senior Texture Artist at Industrial light in San Francisco where I have been working for the last 6 years.
Primarily a texture artist, I also enjoy modeling, some grooming and lookdev. Over the past decade, I have been very fortunate to collaborate with talented teams on feature films, episodic content and commercial campaigns for some of the world's most recognizable brands as well as smaller artist-driven collective projects.
I have a particular affection for realistic material and surface storytelling.
I find inspiration in everyday surroundings. Rust and corrosion on fishing boats, battle wounds on seals resting along the sea wall or even the dirt gathering on my car. This details will often find their way into my texture on Star Wars projects!
